Girls Camp 2008

I can't believe this was my last year at girls camp! It just felt like another year, but then I realized that I didn't have to come back to it if I didn't want to next year:) that made me kind of happy. Don't get me wrong, I like girls camp, but maybe after not going for one year will make me want to come back. We had a Zip line, we have had it for about two years now and it is super fun. I have a couple video's that I took at Girls camp, but this is the only one worth watching. I took this video when the YCL's, us, went to the lake and my friend... well you'll just have to watch it and see:) I went to Girls camp July 7-12th.



I got my Girls Camp medallion also. ( I stopped in mid-walk so I look really weird)My cabin when we all got our certificates and medallions.
My cabin.... We were either the Candie landers or Gingerbread girls... We never did make up our minds:)
We had 17 girls in one cabin...one tiny cabin...well tiny for 17 girls to fit in:) It was one of the biggest cabins there.

My consequence for not being in school for almost three weeks...

is, I took an assessment for college and I flunked math really bad. I am really good at it, but I took that test for Intermediate Algebra, which I passed in High school. I have not been in a math class for almost a year, but I think I can remember most of Algebra if someone could of reminded me while I was taking the test. So they put me in Pre-Algebra:( When I get in the class I will probably be like "Oh, I remember how to do that, let me show you...", but if that happens hopefully I will get a good grade:)

update on me and some of the recent movies I have seen...

So I will start with....U Me aur Hum. That had Kajol and her husband ? I can't remember his name. That one is about a married couple and the wife develops Alzheimer's. I can't say anything else but bring a tissue box. Next Bhootnath that is a really good story. Has Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawala oh and Amitabh Bachan. Shah Rukh and Juhi are not the stars of the movie their "son" is. That one I needed tissues for also, at the end. Very funny. Oh I saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull it was really good except that I did not like that Shia LaBeouf in it. He I think is too modern for the part and he didn't fit I thought with Harrison Ford. Last but not least Phantom of the Opera at the Community Centre Theatre in Sacramento. My friend's mom got sick and couldn't go so I went with my friend and her Aunt and Uncle. It was really good! I would tell anyone to go and see it. It was way better seeing it in person at a Theatre. The movie is really good but nothing beats seeing it live.

For my update I just graduated from High School a year early!!YIPPEE!!! but now I have to get college application stuff done so I can go back to school in August. I also got a scholarship so Graduating from High school was not all for nothing, For you guys that are thinking about quiting school.

Some things I have been doing for the past couple months

Well from the title these are a couple things I have done over the past couple months. The first ticket is from "Bodies Revealed". Bodies Revealed is a place that travels all around the world and they stopped in Sacramento! So my school, and many other schools around the area took advantage of this opportunity because we probably will not see this again. It was a really cool place. They had real bodies that were preserved and they had some of them cut open so you could see the different systems(i.e. circulatory, nervous, etc). The next ticket is when I went to see "Jodhaa Akbar" in the theater. I just love that movie! I can't wait to get it on DVD! It had Hrithik Roshan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, I could not see anyone else in those two roles. They made those roles. And they both are so pretty! Before I saw the movie I would say "They are making a movie with two of the most prettiest people in the world!", but I did hear that in some of the Indian states that they had to cut some of the parts out of the movie for it to be played in that state.
Ohh, I went and saw "Krazzy 4" and that was a great movie, very funny. I would suggest to anyone to go and see that movie.

1st

On March 3rd, for my friends birthday, we went to John's Incredible Pizza in Rooseville, I was really cool. I had a lot of fun. I does cost a lot of money though, It is like $10 per person not including tokens if you want to do games. On February 14th ,# 18 of my neices and nephews was born. Her name is *Eleanor Valentine*. All my family members will be coming out for the fourth of July so we will be having a mini family reunion. That will be fun, I am really excited.
